We actually own one, a Bissell ProHeat, that we bought a few years ago because we rent. It's a good investment when you have so many kids and really want your security deposit back! We are having cat drama too. My oldest boy is allergic, and we are not allowed any pets with fur as a part of our lease - but the nicest, cutest little kitty was found. He's been living in the garage and the kids (so far) are taking better care of him than they care for themselves! But, we cannot keep him. So hard when kids have to say goodbye to a pet.
